Members of the Academic Advisory Group welcomed
Irish Times Training announce new members of the Academic Advisory Group.
Garvan Callan (Founder, OneZero1), Colette Cotter (HR Consultant) and Amanda Zahringer (Chair, Board of Directors, Community Finance Ireland) have joined group chair Dorothy McKee (Business Consultant), Ginny Hanrahan (CEO, Coru) and Michelle Reid (Arts Portfolio Manager, Business to Arts).
An Essential Role
The Academic Advisory Group was established by the Irish Times Training Executive Group and is charged with overseeing the periodic review of the organisation's academic policy and procedures, and the provision of external oversight. The principal functions of the review are to assess programme quality and effectiveness, to protect learner interests, foster planning and improvement, and to provide guidance for academic decisions.
A Wealth of Experience
Reflecting on the rejuvenated panel, David Magee, MD of Irish Times Training, commented, “the current and incoming members of the panel bring a diverse wealth of academic and industry experience, and will help to ensure we are equipped to embrace future opportunities and challenges, while maintaining the high standard of learning excellence across our programmes."
All the Irish Times Training team welcome the AAG members, and we look forward to working closely with them.
